Fitz says these are better than chocolate chip cookies.
Ingredients:
3 tablespoons white sugar
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1 cup butter, softened
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
Directions:
Preheat oven to 300F. Combine 3 tablespoons of white sugar and ground cinnamon and set aside.
In one bowl, combine brown sugar, white sugar, butter, eggs, and vanilla. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda and salt. Stir flour mixture into wet ingredients until combined.
Roll dough into one inch balls and coat in cinnamon sugar mixture. Place on greased cookie sheet and flatten.
Bake for 8 minutes.

*Notes: The original recipe suggests an 18-20 minute bake time. 8 was perfect and 10 was verging on burnt in my oven. We all know my oven is special though.
